Dontae Thonton, EHS & Quality Manager

Dontae started with Carolina Filters in April of 2011 as a Research and Development Technician. In 2012 he was promoted to the Environmental Manager position. He was romoted to Process Engineer I in 2013. In 2017 he was promoted to the role of Quality Manager.  He moved into the role of EHS & Quality Manager in early 2019. Before Carolina Filters, he had gained work experience in the fields of project management and roadway design. Dontae graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He enjoys the challenge of working together as a team to meet our customer’s needs.

When he is not in the office, he enjoy watching and playing basketball and football, as well as spending time with his wife and 2 girls.
