Cordell Blanding, Reliability Engineer

Cordell Blanding began his career with Carolina PEC in the summer of 2019 as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. While completing his education at South Carolina State University, Cordell continued to grow within the company, ultimately earning the title of Reliability Engineer in May 2025.

Before joining Carolina PEC, Cordell attended the NASCAR Technical Institute, where he earned a diploma in Automotive Technology & FACT with NASCAR Engines 1 & 2. His background in mechanical engineering and hands-on technical training contributes to his innovative approach to reliability and maintenance solutions.

Outside of work, Cordell enjoys fishing, grilling, traveling, and working on cars. Above all, he is a proud father to his son, who continues to be his greatest inspiration.
